DUFFY PRIMARY BRAND OVERHAUL

Landscape
Duffy Primary's design goal was to capture the spirit of their slogan – 'In partnership, fostering excellence, equity and esteem'. The school is located at the foot of the mountains.

Result
This layout illustrates the esteem and energy of a small and proud community.

CURTIN PRIMARY BRAND OVERHAUL

Landscape
Curtin Primary wanted to rejuvenate their layouts and logo whilst focusing on the theme of 'coming together'. The target market was students and their parents.

Result
Using elements of the shapes within the new logo, this design captures the energetic, quality and accelerated learning aspects of the school.

KALEEN HIGH BRAND OVERHAUL

Landscape
After updating their logo, Kaleen High required a design that portrayed a school that is inclusive and caring about the individual.

Result
By leveraging off the water and aboriginal feel of their logo, Kaleen's new style now acts as a foundation to deliver their consistent message of being able to prepare students for the next phase of their lives.

CAROLINE CHISHOLM BRAND OVERHAUL

Landscape
'Learning today, leading tomorrow' is the slogan of Caroline Chisholm School. One point of difference is the architecture of the building. Another is the seamless link from early childhood, later childhood, early adolescence and later adolescence.

Result
Caroline Chisholm's design features a blue print of the school's architecture and the flow of growth from pre-school to year 6.

CAMPBELL HIGH BRAND OVERHAUL

Landscape
Besides its diverse curriculum and culture, Campbell High's dominant feature is its location at the foot of Mount Ainslie and next to the Australian War Memorial.

Result
Using the smiling faces of students in a range of activities and illustrations of flora and fauna from the grounds, this layout truely captures the atmosphere of Campbell High.

THE ACTEWAGL ROYAL CANBERRA SHOW PR CAMPAIGN

Landscape
The public relations campaign for the ACTEWAGL Royal Canberra Show required a colourful and refreshing approach to celebrate 80 years.

Result
Energetic layouts and scripts for press ads, television commercials and show guides were produced within tight media deadlines.

PAMELA MILLER PHOTOGRAPHER LOGO AND WEBSITE

Landscape
Pamela's market consists of females requiring wedding or portrait photography. Her service is credible and relaxed.

Result
www.pamelamillerphotographer.com.au is a simple HTML website with a flash movie on the welcome page. Her new logo is friendly and creative.

EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW

If you're like the rest of us, you haven't figured out everything there is to know about marketing. However, here's a list to get you started:

• Making promises and keeping them is a great way to build a brand.

• Anticipated, personal and relevant advertising is much more effective than unsolicited junk.

• Advertising is just a tactic–Marketing is about far more than that.

• Conversations among the people within your marketplace happen whether you like it or not. Good marketing encourages the right sort of conversation.

• Marketing starts from the way people answer your phone to the typesetting on your letterhead.

• A product for everyone rarely reaches anyone.

• Marketing is not an emergency: it's a planned, thoughtful exercise that started a long time ago and doesn't end until you're done.

• One disappointed customer is worth as much as 10 delighted ones.

• Understanding what to do is very different from actually doing it.
